Overview

This standard shall be used in conjunction with IEC 60317-0-9, which defines the basic dimensions. In addition, Part 67 of IEC 60317 specifically defines the requirements of enamelled rectangular aluminium winding wire of class 105 with a sole coating based on polyvinyl acetal resin, which may be modified providing it retains the chemical identity of the original resin and meets all specified wire requirements. The responsible committee is DKE/K 413 "Wickeldrähte" ("Winding Wires") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
