Overview

This standard deals with the safety of electric water-bed heaters and their associated control units, for household and similar purposes, their rated voltage is not more than 250 V. The error "Incomplete covering of the heating" is included. The responsible committee is Subcommittee UK 511.9 "Schmiegsame Wärmegeräte" ("Flexible heating appliances") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
