Overview
This standard deals with the safety of electric fence energizers the rated voltage of which does not exceed 250 V and with which fence energizers used in agriculture and domestic areas, wildlife protection fences and safety fences can be energized or controlled. The responsible Subcommittee is UK 531.2 "Landwirtschaftsgeräte" ("Agricultural machinery") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
