Overview

This part of the DIN EN 60358 (VDE 0560) series applies to capacitors with a rated voltage of more than 1 000 V for transfer of signals in energy supply grids connected line to ground, with the low voltage terminal either permanently earthed or connected to devices, and which are used for the applications listed in other parts of the series or other similar uses. The standard serves as basic standard for coupling capacitors. The responsible committee is DKE/K 341 "Leistungskondensatoren" ("Coupling capacitors") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
