Overview

This standard applies to connectors for electrical and electronic applications. The test described in this standard determines if a cable clamping devices allows rotary movement of the cable/wire bundle without damaging the cable sheath, wire insulation, connector or its sub-assembly. The responsible committee is K 651 "Steckverbinder" ("Connectors") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
