This standard applies to connectors for electrical and electronic applications. The test described in this standard determines if a fixed connector is suitable for applications where axial forces occur. The responsible committee is K 651 "Steckverbinder" ("Connectors") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
