Series DIN EN 60512 contains basic measurement and test methods for connectors for electronic equipment. This standard describes a test method to assess the ability of a connector to withstand elevated temperatures with electrical loading. The responsible committee is DKE/K 651 "Steckverbinder" ("Connector") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
