This standard applies to connectors for electric and electronic applications. The test described in this standard determines if a connector can withstand stresses caused by repeated extraction and insertion of contacts during maintenance. The responsible committee is K 651 "Steckverbinder" ("Connector") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
