DIN EN 60546-2:2011-04

This standard applies to pneumatic and electrical industrial-process controllers with analogue signals which are in accordance with the publications DIN EN 60381-1 and DIN EN 60381-2. The specifications of this standard are generally also applicable to controllers having different, but continuous signals. The purpose of this standard is to provide technical guidance for acceptance and routine testing of controllers, for instance, as acceptance tests or after repair. For a full evaluation, DIN EN 60546-1 should be used. Quantitative acceptance criteria shall be specified by agreement between manufacturer and user. The requirements of this standard are relevant when agreed upon by the manufacturer and the user. The responsible Committee is K 961 "Elektrische Messwertaufnehmer und Messgrößenumformer" ("Electrical measuring sensors and transductors") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
