Overview

This standard specifies the basic safety and essential performance of infant transport incubator equipment. This can be a complete system with an integrated stand and wheels or just the baby transport incubator alone. This particular standard amends und supplements DIN EN 60601-1 (VDE 0750-1):2007. At DIN and VDE the responsible Subcommittee is UK 812.7 "Medizinische Geräte in der Pädiatrie" ("Pediatric medical equipment") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies).
