Overview
This standard comprises the maximum lamp outlines for incandescent lamps (including tungsten-halogen lamps) and has the form of a loose-leaf publication. Through the new Amendment A6, a note has been included in the scope that where reference is made to cap E27/27, the use of cap E27/25 is also allowed. The datasheets 60630-IEC-1010-5 and 60630-IEC-1020-5 have been complemented by incandescent lamps with "A50" bulb designation; and the list in 2.2, where these datasheets are described, has been updated accordingly. A new datasheet 60630-IEC-4090-1 for a 111 mm diameter reflector lamp with GU10 or GZ10 cap has been added. The Subcommittee responsible for this standard is UK 521.1 "Elektrische Lampen" ("Electrical lamps") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
