This standard applies primarily to fuse-links used with motors started direct-on-line on alternating current systems of 50 Hz and 60 Hz. The responsible Committee is Subcommittee UK 432.4 "Hochspannungs-Sicherungen" ("High voltage fuses") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
