Overview
This standard applies to electronic switches and their associated electronic remote control units for household and similar fixed electrical installations, for either in- or outdoor use. The amendment adds a note to Table 20. The responsible Committee is Subcommittee UK 542.1 "Schalter und Steckvorrichtungen für den Hausgebrauch und ähnliche Zwecke" ("Switches and plug and socket devices for household and similar purposes") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Informational Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
