The measurement conditions specified in this Part 2-4 reproduce, as far as possible, the practical operation of household washing machines and spin dryers in order to determine with sufficient accuracy the noise emissions and the comparability of measurement results in different laboratories. This document includes the following significant technical changes with respect to EN 60704-2-4:2012 (as impacted by EN 60704-2-4:2012/A11:2020): - update of outdated references (see Annex ZA).
