This standard applies to hedge trimmers which are designed for use by one operator for trimming hedges and bushes, utilizing one or more linear reciprocating cutter blade/s. The responsible Committee is K 514 "Elektrowerkzeuge" ("Electric tools") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
