Overview

In IEC Corrigendum 1 of May 2013, the note specifying a minimum distance of 1,7 mm for the clearance between active parts of the lamp holder and the exposed metal parts of the cap for Japan has been deleted in 16.2. The responsible committee is UK 521.2 "Lampensockel und -fassungen" ("Lamp caps and holders") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
