Overview
The standard applies to connectors intended exclusively for building-in (including those used for interconnection between LED modules) of miscellaneous types to be used with PCB-based LED modules. The following modifications have been made through Amendment A1: - 1.2 and Annex ZA: The normative references have been supplemented by IEC 62031:2008 or EN 62031:2008. - 5.3: The rated temperature range of systems limited to interior use has been clarified. - Clause 20: Thermal management requirements have been incorporated. The responsible committee is UK 521.2 "Lampensockel und -fassungen" ("Lamp caps and holders") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
This document replaces DIN EN 60838-2-2:2007-01; VDE 0616-6:2007-01 .
