Overview

This part of the IEC 60838-2 series of standards applies to holders of double-capped linear LED lamps designed for installation (for use in general lighting and with bases according to Annex A). Holders within the scope of this standard do not take thermal management into account. Some additional changes have been made compared to the first draft. The committee responsible for this standard is DKE/UK 521.2 "Lichtquellensockel und -fassungen" ("Lamp caps and holders") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
