Overview
This specification defines the web services interface for electronic access control systems (EACS). This includes detection components and their logical composition and control. In addition, this specification also defines the web services interface for interaction with physical doors. Among other things, this includes the control of physical doors and the monitoring of their status. Annex B also includes a comparative presentation of mandatory and optional requirements in accordance with [IEC 60839-11-1:2013]. The responsible committee is DKE/UK 713.1 "Gefahrenmelde- und Überwachungsanlagen" ("Alarm and surveillance systems") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
