Overview

This standard provides general notes on methods of testing and measurement for winding wires. Furthermore, it specifies the terms and definitions used in the standard series IEC 60851. Annex A contains a survey of the contents of IEC 60851, part 2 to part 6. The responsible Committee is K 413 "Wickeldrähte" ("Winding wires") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Informational Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
