This part of the DIN EN 60851 series specifies the chemical tests that are used in the standards of the DIN EN 60317 series for testing insulated winding wires. The following tests are covered: - Test 12: Resistance to solvents; - Test 16: Resistance to refrigerants; - Test 17: Solderability; - Test 20: Resistance to transformer oil. The responsible committee is DKE/K 413 "Wickeldrähte" ("Winding Wires") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
