Overview

This standard applies to switches, disconnectors, switch-disconnectors and fuse-combination units to be used in distribution circuits and motor circuits of which the rated voltage does not exceed 1 000 a.c. or 1 500 V d.c. The manufacturer shall specify the type, ratings and characteristics according to the relevant standard of any incorporated fuses. This Corrigendum 1 changes one reference given in the Normative references of the current edition of DIN EN 60947-3 (VDE 0660-107):2012-12. The responsible committee is DKE/K 431 "Niederspannungsschaltgeräte und -kombinationen" ("Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
