The DIN EN 61010 standard series specifies safety regulations for electrical measuring, control and laboratory equipment. This Part 2-020 is applicable to electrically powered LABORATORY CENTRIFUGES and supplements or modifies the corresponding clauses in DIN EN 61010-1. The responsible committee is DKE/K 913 "Sicherheitsanforderungen an typische Geräte, Einrichtungen und Systeme für Labor und Unterricht" ("Safety requirements for typical apparatus, equipment and systems for laboratory and teaching purposes") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.

Replacement amendments

This document replaces DIN EN 61010-2-020:2007-03; VDE 0411-2-020:2007-03 .
