Overview

This European Standard applies to transportable combined mitre and bench saws with a saw blade diameter not exceeding 315 mm and intended for cutting wood and analogous materials, plastics and non-ferrous materials except magnesium. The following modifications have been made with regard to DIN EN 61029-2-11 (VDE 0740-511):2010-06: a) introduction of the term "linked action", b) rewording of some clauses; c) improvement and clarification of clause 18. The responsible committee is DKE/K 514 "Elektrowerkzeuge" ("Electric tools") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.

This document replaces DIN EN 61029-2-11:2010-06; VDE 0740-511:2010-06 .
