Overview

This European Standard applies to transportable band saws having a saw band not more than 2 700 mm in length and band wheels having a diameter of not more than 350 mm. This Amendment has been prepared in order to bring EN 61029-2-5:2011 in line with European Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. The responsible committee is DKE/K 514 "Elektrowerkzeuge" ("Electric tools") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.

Replacement amendments

This document replaces DIN EN 61029-2-5:2012-10; VDE 0740-505:2012-10 .
