This standard covers protective housings for 8-way shielded and unshielded connectors with interfaces described in IEC 60603-7-2, IEC 60603-7-3, IEC 60603-7-4, IEC 60603-7-5 and IEC 60603-7-7 for industrial environments with the degrees of protection IP65 and IP67 according to IEC 60529. The responsible Committee is K 651 "Steckverbinder" ("Connectors") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) of DIN and VDE.
