Overview
This standard establishes general rules and guidelines for the presentation of information in documents, and specific rules for diagrams, drawings and tables used in electrotechnology. Excluded from this standard are rules and guidelines for all kind of audio or video or tactile presentations. The responsible committee is DKE/K 113 "Produktdatenmodelle, Informationsstrukturen, Dokumentation und graphische Symbole" ("Product data models, information structures, documentation and graphical symbols") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
This document replaces DIN EN 61082-1:2007-03; VDE 0040-1:2007-03 .
