Overview

The objective of this International Standard is to specify a logical alphanumeric marking system for the identification of the external main terminals of the main power circuits in a stack, valve device assembly or factory-built integrated conversion equipment, which is applicable for the purpose of reference in circuit diagrams, catalogues, descriptions, and information exchange and storage. Terminal markings for auxiliary circuits and other circuits such as protective conductors are not considered in this standard. The responsible committee is K 331 "Leistungselektronik" ("Power electronics") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
