This Amendment 1 to the existing standard EN 61162-3 replaces the normative reference to NMEA 2000, Appendix B, by the updated version NMEA 2000, Appendix B, version 1.300:May 2009. The responsible Committee is K 738 "Elektronische Navigationsinstrumente" ("Navigation instruments") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
