This standard specifies dimensions, requirements and tests for CQM series coaxial RF connectors. These connectors have a characteristic impedance of 50 ohm and are connected to coaxial cables or microstrips. The operating frequency limit is at least up to 4 GHz. The responsible Committee is Subcommittee UK 412.4 "Passive HF- und Mikrowellenbauelemente" ("HF and microwave passive components") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
