Overview

This standard specifies dimensions, requirements and tests for 2.4 series coaxial HF connectors. These connectors have a characteristic impedance of 50 ohm and are connected to coaxial cables or microstrips. They are applicable for a frequency limit of at least 50 GHz. The connectors can be intermated with 1,85 mm connectors according to IEC 61169-32. The responsible committee is Subcommittee UK 412.4 "Passive HF- und Mikrowellenbauelemente" ("RF and microwave passive components") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
