Overview

This standard specifies dimensions, requirements and tests for coaxial RF connectors of the BMP series. These connectors have a characteristic impedance of 50 Ώ and can be used up to an operating frequency of 6 GHz. They are typically used between printed circuit boards for the transmission of microwave signals. The responsible committee is DKE/UK 412.4 "Passive HF- und Mikrowellenbauelemente" ("RF and microwave passive components") of the German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies of DIN and VDE.
