Due to the International Corrigendum (IEC Corrigendum October 2012 to IEC 61300-2-46:2006) the following corrections shall be carried out in the standard: In the first line in clause 3 "Variant 1" shall be replaced by "Variant 2". The responsible committee is Subcommittee UK 412.7 "LWL-Verbindungstechnik und passive optische Komponenten" ("Fibre optic interconnecting devices and passive optical components") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
