Overview
The International Standard has been prepared by IEC/SC 62C "Equipment for radiotherapy, nuclear medicine and radiation dosimetry". The standard covers radionuclide calibrators of the well type, with a gas-filled ionization chamber as used in practice of nuclear medicine. It describes characteristics and associated test methods. Corrigendum 1 contains corrections regarding the evaluation of the primary test method and system reproducibility. The standard has been prepared by Joint Committee NA 080-00-13 GA "Nuklearmedizin" ("Nuclear medicine") at DIN Standards Committee Radiology (NAR).
