The standard text and the numbering of the figures have been revised; Title and Clause1: The scope and the title of the standard have been aligned to electronic operating devices supplied with alternating and/or direct current that are operated on a central supply system; Clause3: The term for operating devices supplied with direct current has been added; 7.2: A note regarding protection against polarity reversal of the supply voltage for DC-supplied operating devices has been added to the information to be provided; Figure 4: The test of the rectifying effect has been further developed; Clause14 and 16.2: When testing the anomalous operating conditions, the polarity reversal of the supply voltage for DC-powered operating devices has been added; Clause18: For the construction of operating devices it has been determined that the requirements according to IEC 61347-1, Clause15, are applicable; Annex I: Test setups for measuring the high-frequency leakage current for various lamp types have been introduced using figures; Annex J: The requirements have been re-aligned to centrally supplied electronic operating devices for emergency lighting; the Bibliography has been added; Annex ZA has been updated by CENELEC. The responsible committee is DKE/UK 521.3 "Geräte für Lampen" ("Auxiliaries for lamps") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
