Overview

This part of EN 61400 deals with the essential design requirements to ensure the engineering integrity of wind turbines. The purpose of the standard is to provide an appropriate level of protection against damage from all hazards during the planned lifetime. The responsible Committee is K 383 "Windenergieanlagen" ("Wind turbines") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Informational Technologies) at DIN and VDE.

Replacement amendments

This document replaces DIN EN 61400-1 Berichtigung 1:2007-08; VDE 0127-1 Berichtigung 1:2007-08 , DIN EN 61400-1:2006-07; VDE 0127-1:2006-07 .

This document has been replaced by: DIN EN IEC 61400-1:2019-12; VDE 0127-1:2019-12 .
