DIN EN 61439-6:2013-06

Part 6 of IEC 61439 lays down the definitions and states the service conditions, construction requirements, technical characteristics and test requirements for low voltage BTS. This standard applies to all BTS whether they are designed, manufactured and verified on a one-off basis or fully standardized and manufactured in quantity. The following modifications with respect to DIN 60439-2 (VDE 0660-502):2006-07 have been made: a) alignment of EN 61439-1:2011 regarding the structure and technical content, as applicable; b) introduction of new verifications accordingly; c) correction of inconsistencies in resistance, reactance and impedance measurements and calculations. The responsible committee is Subcommittee DKE/UK 431.1 "Niederspannungs-Schaltgerätekombinationen" ("Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
