DIN EN 61754-15:2010-04

This part of IEC 61754 is a product standard and describes the type LSH connector family. The standard contains the dimensions and tolerances of the mentioned connector family and specifies the mechanical interoperability of identical connectors, couplings and sockets. Thus, the standard provides manufacturers and users with investment security and test laboratories and manufacturers with defined information on testing. The standard series is applied together with the DIN EN 61755 (Optical interface) standard series and is supplemented by the DIN EN 61300 (Basic test and measurement procedures) standard series. The DIN EN 50377 (Product standards) standard series also refer to the DIN EN 61754, DIN EN 61755 and DIN EN 61300 standard series. At DIN and VDE the responsible Subcommittee is UK 412.7 "LWL - Verbindungstechnik und passive optische Komponenten" ("Fibre optic interconnecting devices and passive components") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies).
