This document specifies performance indicators supporting classification schemes for RTE (Real-Time Ethernet) requirements and communication profiles based on ISO/IEC 8802-3, standards of the DIN EN 61158 series and DIN EN 61784-1, and that are able to run in parallel with ISO/IEC 8802-3-based applications. The Committee responsible for this standard is national Working Committee K 956 "Feldbus" ("Fieldbus") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE (www.dke.de).
