Overview

This International Standard is part of a series produced to facilitate the use of communication networks in industrial control systems. This standard specifies the installation profiles for communication profile family 13 (Ethernet Powerlink) and indicates which requirements of IEC 61918:2013 shall fully apply, and, where necessary, by supplementing, modifying, or replacing the other requirements. The installation profiles are specified in the annexes and shall be read in conjunction with IEC 61918:2018. The responsible committee is DKE/K 956 "Feldbus" ("Fieldbus") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
