Overview

This International Standard is one of a series produced to facilitate the use of communication networks in industrial control systems. This part specifies the installation profiles for communication profile family 2 (DeviceNet, ControlNet and EtherNet/IP). These are specified in the annexes and are to be read in conjunction with IEC 61918:2013. The responsible committee is DKE/K 956 "Feldbus" ("Fieldbus") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.

This document replaces DIN EN 61784-5-2:2012-11; VDE 0800-500-2:2012-11 .
