DIN EN 61784-5-4:2016-04

IEC 61918 specifies all installation requirements for a large part of industrial communication networks. These requirements automatically apply to each individual network with the exception of those requirements that are explicitly defined as modified or superseded in the corresponding IEC 61784-5 series document. All additions to the latest edition of IEC 61918 apply to the CPF 4, CPF 10, CPF 12 and CPF 15 communication profile family networks. The fact that some tables of IEC 61918 have been restructured to better reflect the technical content requires a correction of documents IEC 61784-5-4 Ed. 1, IEC 61784-5-10 Ed. 2, IEC 61784-5-12 Ed. 1 and IEC 61784-5-15 Ed. 1 to achieve full compliance with the revised structure of IEC 61918. The responsible committee is DKE/K 956 "Feldbus" ("Fieldbus") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
