Overview
EDDL is used to create Electronic Device Description (EDD). It is used in the appropriate tools to generate interpretative code to organize parameter handling or display of devices such as remote I/Os, field devices and PLC. The responsible Committee is K 956 "Feldbus" ("Fieldbus") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
