Overview
IEC 61987-24-1 deals with positioners. This standard provides an operating list of properties for all common types of positioners that can be used, for example, for an inquiry for various applications. The operating list of properties for positioners provided in this standard can be used in various ways in the computer systems of manufacturers and suppliers, in the CAE systems of plant engineers and other engineering companies, and especially in the plant maintenance systems of end operators. The operating and device list of properties presented here conform to the guidelines specified in IEC 61987-10, IEC 61987-11, and IEC 61987-21. The responsible committee is DKE/K 931 "Systemaspekte" ("System aspects") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
