Overview
This part of IEC 62058 specifies particular requirements for acceptance testing of newly manufactured directly connected or transformer operated static meters for active energy (classes 0,2 S, 0,5 S, 1 and 2) delivered in lots in quantities above 50. The method of acceptance of smaller lots shall be agreed upon between the manufacturer and the customer. The process described in this standard is primarily intended for acceptance testing between manufacturer and customer. This European Standard applies to meters of classes 0,2 S, 0,5 S, 1 and 2 and class indexes A, B and C. The responsible Committee is K 461 "Elektrizitätszähler" ("Meters") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) of DIN and VDE.
This document replaces DIN EN 61358:1996-11; VDE 0418-60:1996-11 .
