Overview

This International Standard specifies the minimum requirements for the design qualification and type approval of concentrator photovoltaic (CPV) modules and assemblies suitable for long-term operation in temperate climates. This test standard also covers the determination of the electrical and temperature-related characteristics of CPV modules and assemblies and verification of their durability. The responsible committee is DKE/K 373 "Photovoltaische Solarenergie-Systeme" ("Photovoltaic solar power systems") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
