Overview

This European Standard specifies the requirements for metallic, non-metallic and composite cable ties and their associated fixing devices used for the management and support of wiring systems in electrical installations up to and including 1000 V ac or 1500 V dc. With respect to DIN EN 50146 (VDE 0604-201):2000-12, the following changes have been made: a) IEC 62275 has been adapted. b) the content and the structure of the standard have been revised. The responsible Committee is Subcommittee UK 543.2 "Führungssysteme für Kabel und Leitungen" ("Cable management") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.

Replacement amendments

This document replaces DIN EN 50146:2000-12; VDE 0604-201:2000-12 .
