Overview

This standard contains specifications for the dimensions of a preferred range of ferrite toroidal cores with the aim of enabling their mechanical interchangeability as well as the effective parameter values to be used in calculations involving them. Toroidal cores are widely used for transformers, chokes and transducer. The responsible committee is DKE/K 625 "Magnetische Bauelemente und deren Komponenten" ("Magnetic devices and their components") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
