Overview

This standard contains specifications for the dimensions of a preferred range of low-profile rectangular (RM) cores made of magnetic oxides. It also specifies the test conditions and applicable clamp forces for inductance measurement. The Corrigendum changes dimensions for RM 5 and RM 6 sizes in Table 1. The responsible committee is DKE/K 625 "Magnetische Bauelemente und deren Komponenten" ("Magnetic devices and their components") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
