This part of DIN EN 62317 contains specifications for the dimensions of ferrite ETD cores with the aim of enabling their mechanical interchangeability. The specifications in this International Standard refer to the main dimensions of the coilformers used for these cores and the effective core parameters used for calculations on these cores. The responsible committee is DKE/K 625 "Magnetische Bauelemente und deren Komponenten" ("Magnetic devices and their components") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.

This document replaces DIN EN 61185:2006-01 .
